Sales of Uzbek textiles on Wildberries surge by 61% in 2024
Russia remains the primary export destination, with long sleeves, pajamas, and T-shirts being the top-selling items.

Sales of Uzbek textile products on the Wildberries marketplace increased by more than 61% in monetary terms in 2024, according to the company’s press service, as reported by Spot.
Wildberries highlighted the growing popularity of Uzbek textiles, emphasizing their high quality and competitiveness in the international market. Clothing remained the top-selling category, with sales increasing by 39%. Sportswear and underwear also ranked among the top three, with sales volume rising by 26%.
The fastest-growing category in terms of sales volume was handicraft supplies, which saw a 142% increase across buyers in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan.

According to Wildberries analysts, the most sold Uzbek textile products (by quantity) were:
- T-shirts (+42%)
- Pajamas (+49%)
- Long sleeves (+70%)
- Polo T-shirts (+37%)
- Trousers (+30%)
Products with the highest growth in sales
- Down jackets – +2,479%
- Baby jackets – +936%
- Thermal turtlenecks – +647%
- Thermal socks – +522%
- Bodysuits – +379%
- Knee-high socks – +306%
- Baby leggings – +234%
- Swimwear sets – +190%
- Handicraft fabrics – +139%
- Home robes – +112%
Uzbekistan’s textile exports on the rise
Russia remains the primary destination for Uzbek textile exports, with supply volumes increasing by 63%. Demand also surged in Kyrgyzstan (+117%), Belarus (+114%), and Kazakhstan (+108%).
Textiles accounted for 83% of all Uzbek-made products sold on Wildberries in 2024.
Wildberries also noted its active collaboration with Uzbekistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry to support local businesses. Chamber employees are undergoing training to become regional mentors for local entrepreneurs. In 2023, over 90 free seminars were held on launching sales on the platform, contributing to the growth of Uzbekistan’s exports to international markets.
Overall, the total volume of Uzbek products sold on Wildberries increased by 61.3% in 2024. While demand for food products surged in Russia, buyers in Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan showed increased interest in automotive products and clothing.
