Chairman of the Board of Uztransgaz Joint Stock Company Sharifjon Tursunov has been dismissed, Kun.uz correspondent reported referring to the company’s press service.
Sharifjon Tursunov was appointed to this post on June 5.
The reason for his dismissal is not known yet. It is also unknown who will be replacing him as the head of the JSC Uztransgaz.
It is worth noting that this is the fourth time the company’s leadership has changed since December 2016.
Ergash Shaismatov, who served as Deputy Prime Minister previously, was the head of Uztransgaz in December 2016.
In August 2017, Mr. Shaismatov was appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Tajikistan, and Alisher Mustafayev replaced him.
In June 2018, Sharifjon Tursunov took hold of the post and served only for 5 months.
