Diyora Keldiyorova's victory named Moment of the Year by IJF

During the Paris Grand Slam tournament held on February 2, 2025, the International Judo Federation (IJF) named Diyora Keldiyorova's victory over Japanese athlete Uta Abe at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games the "Moment of the Year."

According to the International Judo Federation, the award honors the unforgettable moments of 2024 that resonated deeply with the judo family. It celebrates not only triumphs but also the values that elevate the sport to something truly extraordinary.

Diyora Keldiyorova was also among this year's finalists for Female Judoka of the Year.

Additionally, Marko Spittka was unrivaled in the "Best Coach of Women’s National Teams" category for leading Diyora Keldiyorova to Uzbekistan’s first Olympic gold in judo, as stated by the IJF.
