Today, November 19, a telephone conversation took place between President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

At the beginning of the conversation, the heads of state noted with deep satisfaction the observed dynamic development and the consistent strengthening of relations of friendship, good neighborhood and strategic partnership between the two fraternal countries.

It was emphasized that the intensification of contacts at all levels and in all areas contributes to the further deepening of the Uzbek-Kazakh multifaceted cooperation.

During the telephone conversation, the heads of state discussed the prospects for practical cooperation in the context of implementing agreements at the highest level, and also reviewed the schedule of upcoming events.

An exchange of views took place on topical issues of the regional and international agenda, including preparations for the second Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in 2019 in Uzbekistan.

The two leaders confirmed their firm intention and mutual desire to further actively develop full-scale cooperation, strengthen the bonds of centuries-old friendship and good neighborliness, bilateral strategic partnership relations for the benefit of the fraternal peoples of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, in the interests of ensuring stability and sustainable development of the entire region.
