China plans to establish a vehicle testing center in Uzbekistan
With the support of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou, an online meeting was held between Tashkent State Technical University (TSTU) and the Guangdong Institute of Industry and Trade.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for expanding academic cooperation, implementing joint projects, and launching collaborative educational programs.
The parties agreed to work together with Chinese automotive giant GAC to establish an innovative training center for testing and certifying vehicles powered by new energy sources at TSTU. They also plan to introduce a 3+1 educational program and develop a mechanism for mutual recognition of diplomas between the two institutions.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides supported the initiative for a visit by the Chinese delegation to Uzbekistan in June of this year to coordinate project implementation mechanisms with relevant ministries and agencies.
