FIFA hails Uzbekistan’s Asilbek Aliyev as a rising star of Central Asian football
Uzbekistan’s U-17 national team player Asilbek Aliyev has been recognized by FIFA as one of the brightest future stars of Central Asian football.

According to the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) press service, FIFA highlighted Aliyev on its official website among the standout young players who delivered impressive performances at the 2025 AFC U-17 Asian Cup. Aliyev, the top scorer of the tournament, was commended for his contributions to Uzbekistan's success.
The report emphasized that the 2025 AFC U-17 Asian Cup not only served as a regional competition but also as an excellent platform for discovering Asia's football stars of tomorrow.
It was noted that the young players showcased their full potential during the tournament, playing key roles in their teams' achievements and helping secure qualification for the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
"Asilbek Aliyev, one of Uzbekistan’s key players on the path to championship glory, led the attacking line with composure and confidence. In the first four matches of the tournament, he scored five goals and impressed with his striking skills. In the end, Aliyev emerged as the tournament’s top scorer and earned high recognition as one of Central Asia’s brightest football prospects," the statement said.
