Gov’t launches Telegram bot to report public utilities infrastructure conditions
In Uzbekistan, an online survey has been launched to re-verify data on the availability of drinking water, sewage systems, and road quality, with direct public involvement. Citizens are asked to spend 2 minutes participating via the @real_holat_bot Telegram bot. The collected data will serve as the foundation for improving social infrastructure programs across the country.

The survey is crucial for creating a geoportal that will compile information on 10,000 schools, 7,000 kindergartens, 3,800 medical facilities, 880 sports facilities, and other social infrastructure.
This geoportal will serve as a foundation for developing future state investment programs.
To build the geoportal, initial data on the quality of drinking water, sewage systems, and road surfaces in each neighborhood was collected with the help of the Ministry of Employment.
In the current phase, the goal is to verify the accuracy of this data through the survey and address any technical errors with public participation.
The survey will be conducted online via the @real_holat_bot Telegram bot. Participation does not require entering personal information, nor is identity verification needed.
The survey will take place from March 3 to 15, 2025, and all citizens are encouraged to participate. Respondents must provide details about their neighborhood’s location, street name, and the status of its water supply, sewage system, and road conditions.
If a school is located in the area, participants should indicate whether it has access to drinking water. It is important to provide accurate data and complete the survey in full. The survey takes approximately two minutes to complete.
For reference, the social infrastructure geoportal is being developed by the “Delivery Unit” office under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Economy and Finance as part of the “Uzbekistan-2030” strategy and the presidential decree on “Measures for the Development of Uzbekistan's Social and Industrial Infrastructure for 2025–2027.”
