Over 100 billion UZS in environmental damage reported in Bekobod
Illegal sand mining in Bekobod District, Tashkent Region, has caused over 100 billion UZS in environmental damage, according to a report from the Ministry of Ecology.

The Ministry of Ecology conducted an environmental inspection through the Tashkent Regional Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change in the 'Farhod' neighborhood of Bekobod District.
During the inspection, it was discovered that individuals were illegally extracting sand. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the damage to nature amounted to 100,627,800,000 UZS.
All collected documents have been submitted to law enforcement agencies for legal assessment of the situation.
