Senior Assistant to the Prosecutor of Syrdarya region caught with potent drugs

Law enforcement officers seized 50 tablets of the potent drug "Zardex" from the car of the Senior Assistant to the Prosecutor of Syrdarya region during an operation in the Zangiota district of Tashkent region, the State Security Service reported.

According to the report, a Spark vehicle belonging to him was stopped and searched, during which 50 tablets of the potent drug "Zardex" were discovered in the car's interior and documented according to procedural rules. The report did not disclose the individual’s name.

Additionally, the operation was extended, leading to the arrest of a 1997-born resident of Bulungur district, Samarkand region, in Tashkent city. This person was found to have sold the drugs and was caught with 300 tablets of "Zardex" as material evidence.

It was emphasized that these potent drugs were illegally smuggled from Kyrgyzstan.

A pre-investigation inquiry into the case is currently underway.
