Propane prices rise by over 11% in January on UZEX

On January 24, the exchange price of liquefied gas rose by 3.7% in a single day, exceeding 6.9 million UZS per ton. Compared to January 6, propane prices have increased by 11.8%, with sales volume reaching about 1,200 tons.

In early November of last year, the Committee on Competition Development and Consumer Protection set a price increase cap for liquefied gas at 20% above the seller's initial price.

The price of AI-80 gasoline has remained stable at 9.2 million UZS per ton, staying close to the ceiling set by the Competition Committee on November 13. During the January 26 trading session, fuel sales dropped below 4,000 tons. On January 17, fuel sales set a record, surpassing 14,100 tons—3.54 times more than the previous day.

Additionally, the exchange price of AI-92 gasoline per ton rose by 2.5% in a single day, reaching 12.25 million UZS. Meanwhile, the volume of fuel sold doubled compared to the previous day, amounting to 471.5 tons.
