Uzbekistan to launch vocational training centers aligned with German job market needs
Vocational training centers will be established to offer programs tailored to the demands of the German labor market, ensuring graduates acquire the skills and qualifications needed for successful employment in Germany. This initiative was discussed during a meeting between Olim Abdullaev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, and representatives from SBH West GmbH (Stiftung Bildung & Handwerk), a German organization specializing in education and vocational development.

The discussions centered on strengthening collaboration between Uzbekistan and Germany in vocational education and supporting employment opportunities for Uzbek citizens abroad.
A particular focus was placed on implementing a tripartite memorandum aimed at facilitating the employment of Uzbek citizens in Germany as truck and bus drivers.
In addition, the parties agreed to establish branches of SBH West GmbH training centers in various regions of Uzbekistan. These institutions will offer vocational programs aligned with the needs of the German labor market. Graduates will be equipped with the essential skills and qualifications required for successful employment in Germany.
The implementation of these agreements will create new job opportunities for Uzbek citizens in international labor markets and represent a significant step in strengthening bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany in the areas of education, migration, and skills development.
