According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, the deceased — a 46-year-old man identified as B.T. and his three children, T.A. (18 years old), S.A. (16 years old), and M.A. (10 years old) — were exposed to carbon monoxide leaking from their home heating system.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the modern dual-circuit heating boiler installed in the basement was improperly connected to a shared ventilation system. The connection allowed carbon monoxide to seep into the home, leading to the fatal poisoning.
The Karshi city prosecutor's office has launched a pre-investigation inquiry to determine the circumstances leading to the tragic deaths.
