According to the LogiStan Telegram channel, which covers information on transport, communications, infrastructure, and foreign trade in Central Asia, the freight train left on December 11, carrying 54 containers, each 12 meters long, with 28 tons of urea in each container.
"The train will pass through Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. In the port of Poti (the largest port on the eastern coast of the Black Sea), the containers will be transshipped onto ships and transported by sea to the port of Paranagua in Brazil," said a representative from the First Dry Port Terminal.
It was also noted that the goods were sent by Uzkimyoimpeks LLC, the sole agent responsible for export-import operations in Uzbekistan's chemical industry.
The goods are expected to reach their destination in about 60 to 70 days. The containers will take 20 days to reach the port of Poti from Uzbekistan, and the sea transport is expected to take 35 to 45 days.
