In a statement shared on his Telegram channel, Minister Saidov expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, "We are pleased to welcome His Excellency Jan Lipavský, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. Our nations share a rich history and strong humanitarian ties. Today’s agenda was extensive, focusing on enhancing bilateral cooperation, promoting regular exchanges, fostering more dynamic economic diplomacy, and addressing pressing regional and global issues."

Saidov highlighted the significant potential for further partnership between the two countries, emphasizing that many opportunities remain untapped. The signed memorandum represents a concrete step towards realizing this potential and strengthening diplomatic collaboration.

The meeting in Tashkent follows earlier discussions between the two ministers, which took place in late September at the United Nations headquarters in New York. During those talks, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding trade and economic ties. Uzbekistan also welcomed the Czech government’s decision to open an office of the Czech Trade Promotion Agency in Tashkent, aimed at boosting trade relations between the two countries.
