On September 18, an agreement was signed between the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan in Vienna.

The document was inked by Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director General of the IAEA, and Asilbek Khudayarov, Acting Minister of Health of Uzbekistan.

The agreement marks a new phase of cooperation in the field of nuclear medicine and is aimed at enhancing the qualifications of medical personnel in this area, particularly those intended to work at the new oncology center in Tashkent, which was opened at the end of August.
