"The greatest honor of my parliamentary career has been to live up to the trust of voters, bring their concerns, issues, and wishes to the parliamentary platform, contribute to the fairness and humanity of the laws passed, and assist citizens who sought help. I am always proud to have had such an opportunity and blessing," wrote Doniyor Ganiev.
Ganiev emphasized that deputies must recognize changes around them, consider reality, and accurately assess their capabilities.
"Although I believe I have been effective as a deputy, I realized that continuing this activity would not be beneficial for either myself or the voters. I think it is time to make changes in my life and embrace new challenges and opportunities," he noted.
Therefore, Doniyor Ganiev decided to end his parliamentary mandate and not run in the upcoming elections. He will continue his career as a responsible officer in the investment sector at the Cabinet of Ministers. Ganiev had previously worked in this field before his parliamentary career.
"I am grateful to the voters of the Margilan district who trusted me with their representation, the public activists who recognized and supported my work, media representatives, and many blogger friends for their trust and support.
Additionally, I express special thanks to the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber, who always created opportunities for me to express my opinion in parliamentary meetings, to my fellow deputies who supported me in plenary and faction meetings, and to the chamber staff who often worked harder than the deputies themselves in perfecting draft laws," he said.
The press service of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis reported that Doniyor Ganiev has been appointed Deputy Head of the Department for Monitoring the Implementation of Investment Projects in the Secretariat for Investments, Export, Trade, Agriculture, and Water Management Issues of the Cabinet of Ministers.
