KIA and Hyundai file complaint over trademark infringement in Uzbekistan
Automobile companies KIA and Hyundai have appealed to the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan regarding the illegal use of their trademarks in the "Farhad" market.

As a result of the inspection, it was found that citizens A.S.B. and R.D.Sh. used the Hyundai and KIA trademarks without permission.
In connection with this, protocols on administrative violations were drawn up against these citizens under Article 177 (illegal use of someone else's trademark) and sent to the Chilanzar District Criminal Court. By court decision, the offenders were fined 5.1 million sums.
