Germany appoints new ambassador to Uzbekistan
Today, on July 23, Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Manfred Huterer, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Uzbekistan, and received copies of his credentials.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of bilateral relations and exchanged views on further expanding mutual cooperation, strengthening direct regional partnerships, creating more economic bridges, and other issues.
The minister expressed support to the ambassador and the German Embassy team in Uzbekistan in their efforts to consolidate bilateral ties.
It should be noted that Manfred Huterer replaced Tilo Klinner, who headed the diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan for three years.
