According to the information service of the upper house of parliament, a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation was discussed during the meeting held in the Senate, including further strengthening of political, trade-economic, social, cultural-humanitarian cooperation, and the development of inter-parliamentary relations.
The German representatives highly appreciated the reforms being carried out under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in both the domestic and foreign policies of Uzbekistan.
During the dialogue, the importance of the Intergovernmental Agreement on Migration and Mobility between the two countries was discussed. The parties paid special attention to establishing a chain of stable cargo supplies and exchanged views on cooperation in the field of labor and employment.
Following the talks, an agreement was reached on the further development of mutually beneficial ties between Uzbekistan and Germany.
