Starting from October 1, 2024, the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment will provide financial assistance and protect the rights and interests of individuals working abroad from the budget of the Support and Protection Fund for Labor Migrants:
a) Based on a written recommendation from district (city) mayoral assistants on issues of entrepreneurship development, employment, and poverty reduction:
- One-time financial assistance in the amount of two times the BCA for families whose breadwinners have gone abroad for labor migration and are registered in the "Unified Social Protection Register."
- One-time financial assistance in the amount of five times the BCA for purchasing medicines, wheelchairs, hearing aids, and orthopedic products for family members with disabilities of labor migrants who are registered in the "Unified Social Protection Register" or included in the "Iron Notebook," "Women’s Notebook," and "Youth Notebook."
- One-time free vouchers to sanatoriums and preventive treatment institutions within the trade union system for family members living in Uzbekistan with labor migrants who are of retirement age or have group I and II disabilities.
b) Based on a written recommendation from local youth leaders, free vouchers to seasonal activity camps will be provided to children of labor migrants who are registered in the "Unified Social Protection Register" or included in the "Iron Notebook," "Women’s Notebook," and "Youth Notebook."
It is stipulated that in providing financial assistance and vouchers from the fund’s resources to family members of labor migrants:
a) Financial assistance and vouchers will be provided if the labor migrants are registered in the "Xorijda ish" software complex.
b) Applicants must apply electronically through the "Xorijda ish" software complex to receive financial assistance and vouchers.
c) The Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment will:
- Verify, within ten working days from the time of electronic application, that the applicants meet the specified requirements based on information obtained through inter-agency electronic information exchange without requesting additional documents from other ministries and departments, and obtain written recommendations from mayoral assistants and local youth leaders.
- Form a list of eligible applicants and submit it to the fund by the 25th of each month.
