According to the decree on strengthening the requirements for ensuring the safety of citizens and maintaining public order during mass events, it is prohibited to attract citizens to mass events through free distribution or sale of food, goods and other valuables at extremely low prices for advertising, promotional and other purposes.

The National Guard and the Ministry of Internal Affairs have been instructed to strengthen control over compliance with this requirement by organizers of mass events and facility administrations, as well as to bring them to administrative responsibility in case of violation.

It should be recalled that on June 1, the administration of the “Ashgabat” amusement park in Tashkent announced the free distribution of 20,000 toys and ice cream for Children’s Day on a social network, contrary to the requirements for a ban on public events, which led to a massive gathering of people both in and around the park.

On this fact, the Yashnabad district DIA drew up an administrative protocol against the park director, deputy director and head of the advertising department, in accordance with Articles 185-3, 200-1 and 201 of the Administrative Responsibility Code. They were sentenced to 15-day administrative arrest.
