Illegal mining farm discovered in Yangikhayot district
In the Yangikhayot district of Tashkent, a man organized a mining farm in the basement of his house and illegally used electricity worth 751.6 million soums, the PGO Department for Combating Economic Crimes reported.

During an operative event carried out by employees of the Yangiayot district PGO Department and the State Security Service, it turned out that the man O.K., living in the Chortok mahalla, secretly connected five sets of mining devices to the power grid for commercial purposes.
Based on this fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Articles 169 (theft) and 278-9 (illegal mining activities) of the Criminal Code, and investigative actions are being carried out.
