Uzbek woman commits suicide in hospital in India
A 45-year-old woman from Uzbekistan committed suicide on June 11 in the bathroom of a private hospital in India, the Deccan Herard reported with reference to the local police.

The incident took place in the city of Kaushambi in Uttar Pradesh. Medical officials reported that on May 25, a woman from Uzbekistan named Zulfiya was hospitalized for a liver transplant.
“She recovered and was supposed to be discharged in two days,” a doctor at the medical facility said.
The woman had a son and a husband who became her donor.
The Assistant Commissioner of Police said that on the day of the incident, Zulfiya entered the bathroom of her room, and her husband, noticing that she did not come out for a long time, informed the hospital staff. When security called the police, they found her body hanging from a towel rack.
“The body has been sent for examination, a group of forensic experts is examining the scene,” the statement said.
