Uzbekistan to celebrate Eid al-Adha on June 16

According to the document, this year Eid al-Adha will be celebrated on Sunday, June 16.
Due to the fact that the first day of Eid al-Adha falls on a weekend, the holiday will be moved to Monday, June 17. Tuesday, June 18, will be an additional day off for all employees.
Local administrations, responsible ministries and departments have been instructed to take appropriate measures to celebrate Eid al-Adha in accordance with the national traditions and customs of the Uzbek people, to create favorable conditions and opportunities for organizing pilgrimages to shrines and historical places.
