Uzbek diplomats meet with migrant compatriots in Vladivostok

In Vladivostok, a meeting was held between representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan and compatriots temporarily working in the construction industry of the Primorsky Krai of Russia.

During the meeting, the socio-political events taking place in our country, the ongoing work on social, legal, material and spiritual support for compatriots working abroad, and organizing safe labor migration were discussed.

The importance of the decree of the President of Uzbekistan “On improving the processes of labor migration and additional measures to support persons carrying out temporary labor activities abroad” was emphasized.

At the meeting, citizens were also recommended not to participate in various demonstrations and riots, strengthen interethnic harmony and religious tolerance, promote Uzbek culture and comply with Russian migration legislation.
