Uzbekistan, South Korea hold a meeting of Intergovernmental Joint Committee on Trade-Economic Cooperation
On May 30-31, a delegation of Uzbekistan led by the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov visited the Republic of Korea on a working visit.

As part of the stay program, the 12th meeting of the Intergovernmental Joint Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Uzbekistan and South Korea was held.
The parties reviewed important aspects of cooperation in the fields of energy, information and communication technologies, infrastructure and other areas. Further steps to expand bilateral cooperation were determined, sealed by the Protocol of the meeting signed at the end.
On the sidelines of the visit, meetings were also held with the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea, the heads of Exim Bank and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), as well as with the management of a number of leading South Korean companies, including KIA corporation, Samsung, Lotte Chemicals and others.
