The Republican Center for Seismic Forecasting Monitoring under the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports: an earthquake occurred on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan on May 31, 2024, 03:25 local time (05/30/2024, 22:25 GMT).
The epicenter was in the Bakhmal district of the Jizzakh region. Earthquake coordinates: 39.77 degrees north latitude; 67.97 degrees east longitude. Magnitude 3.2, depth 15 km. The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent is 197 km in a southwestern direction.
