Graduates prohibited from holding banquets in restaurants, cafés and apartments, collecting money for gifts and buying expensive clothes
The Ministry of Preschool and School Education (MPSE) has published recommendations for holding events dedicated to the last bell in secondary schools of the republic.
The Ministry of Preschool and School Education has developed recommendations for completing the 2023-2024 academic year in general education institutions and holding events dedicated to the last bell.
According to the recommendations, the last call will be organized on May 25 from 08:00 to 09:00. However, only students of grades 1, 4, 9 and 11 are allowed to participate in this event.
It is recommended to hold the last call together with district activists, parents and law enforcement officials in compliance with fire and technical safety rules, inviting retired teachers and former graduates to the event.
Parents of students who are actively involved in the life of the school are invited to present letters of gratitude in the categories “Most Active Father”, “Energetic Mother”, “Responsible Parent”, “Father of an Excellent Student” and “Mother of a Smart Girl”.
According to the MPSE statement, it is prohibited:
- holding “Graduation Evenings” in various restaurants and cafés, apartments, during stage control exams and final state certification, raising funds from schoolchildren and graduates and their parents as part of the preparation of educational institutions for the new academic year;
- collecting money for expensive gifts from schoolchildren for graduation events, purchasing expensive clothes for graduation parties, organizing walks in cars;
- group visits by students to alleys, parks and swimming pools.
