Participants and disabled people of World War II to be paid 20 million soums
Each participant and disabled person of the Second World War in Uzbekistan will receive a one-time cash reward in the amount of 20 million soums. This is envisaged in the decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, signed on April 16 and published now.

The decree is timed to coincide with the Day of Memory and Honor, which is celebrated in Uzbekistan on May 9, as well as the 79th anniversary of the Victory over fascism in the war of 1941-1945.
Last year, the amount of remuneration for war participants and disabled people was 18 million soums. In 2022 – 15 million soums, in 2021 – 12 million soums, in 2020 – 10 million soums, in 2019 – 7.5 million soums, in 2018 – 5 million soums and in 2017 – 2 million soums.
