Uzbekistan eyes to intensify cooperation with leading healthcare institutions in India
Ambassador of Uzbekistan Sardor Rustamboyev, as part of his working visit to the administrative center of the state of Tamil Nadu – Chennai, met with the executive director of the multidisciplinary hospital “Dr. Rela” Ilankumaran Kaliamurthy.

The head of the diplomatic mission provided information about the process of large-scale changes being implemented in our country in recent years, including the reform of the healthcare system at the level of modern requirements, and the favorable environment created for the development of international relations in this direction.
Particular attention was paid to the successful activities of the Indian multidisciplinary medical centers “Aakash” and “Pratiksha” in Uzbekistan, as well as the training of more than 5 thousand Indian boys and girls in higher medical educational institutions of our country.
Ilankumaran Kaliamurthy noted that he was watching with great interest the progress of large-scale reforms in Uzbekistan and expressed interest in the prospects for joint activities in the healthcare sector.
At the meeting, issues related to the creation of joint projects with the multidisciplinary hospital “Dr. Rela” in our country were discussed and an agreement was reached on the implementation of an action plan for these purposes.
During the meeting with the managing director of the large dental hospital “Dantech Dental Lab”, Dr. Varun Gunasilan, prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation were also identified.
