Three students from schools in the city of Navoi and the Karmana district got into someone else’s car and drove to the Nurata district. On the way back they had an accident. Two children died on the spot, one is in hospital in critical condition.
An accident occurred in Navoi that resulted in the death of children, Kun.uz source reports.
According to the source, the injured children were students of secondary schools No. 11 in the city of Navoi and No. 5 and 7 in the Karmana district. On April 23, three children studying in grades 8 and 9 took someone else’s Matiz car and went on a trip to the Nurata district. The car was driven by a minor who did not have a driver’s license.
On the way back, the student behind the wheel lost control and an accident occurred. As a result, two schoolchildren died on the spot. The third was taken to the central hospital of the Karmana district with serious injuries. He is now in serious condition in the intensive care unit.
To clarify the situation, Kun.uz contacted the press secretary of the Navoi regional DIA.
“Preliminary investigations are currently underway to establish the identity of the car owner.
Unfortunately, recently, parents and adults often trust their children to drive the car. It ends unhappily. We ask parents to be careful in this regard, not to allow their children to drive cars,” Fayozjon Kosimov, press secretary of the Navoi Regional Traffic Police Department said, in an interview with a Kun.uz journalist.
Previously, Kun.uz reported that in Jizzakh, a Lacetti driver, breaking the rules and driving at high speed, killed three students walking along the roadside to school.
