The Investigative Committee of Russia drew attention to offensive messages written by a 20-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan, who is currently a first-year exchange student at one of the medical universities in St. Petersburg.

In the correspondence, the young man insulted Russian girls, culture, education and the nation as a whole.

An Uzbek citizen’s account was also posted on social networks, from which a Telegram channel was later created. It states that he was detained and handed over to the task force, and the student’s phone and computer were seized. All messages are being verified and can be used as evidence in court.

As the Investigative Committee of Russia reported, a procedural investigation has been organized into this fact. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee A. Bastrykin ordered to initiate a criminal case and report on the previously established circumstances.

The progress of the execution of the order has been monitored by the central office of the Russian Investigative Committee.
