Chinese automaker Li Auto has denied reports of plans to enter the Uzbekistan market, Technode writes.

The company's legal service posted on Weibo stating that previously published photos of document signings with dealers do not correspond to reality. Li Auto also has not conducted tours for representatives of foreign distributors, as highlighted in the message.

"Li Auto has collected all the evidence in the case and has forwarded it to law enforcement authorities. Details of the situation will be disclosed following the investigation," the company noted.

As Technode reports, several images from the company's factory in Changzhou city appeared on Chinese social networks earlier. The photos show several unidentified individuals standing near the gates of the auto plant.

Prior to this, Li Auto announced the recruitment of staff for dealer and service centers in Dubai. The company plans to begin servicing its cars for customers in the UAE from June, and by the fourth quarter of this year, it may start direct sales in the Middle East.
