This announcement was made during an interview with Kyrgyz national broadcaster ElTR by Bahadyr Bahautdinov, the head of the Altyn Tulpar Unaa Kurulush project. According to him, the initial phase of the joint project with UzAuto Motors is slated for completion by the end of May, featuring a plant that spans 18,000 square meters.

"The first phase will involve assembly followed by further localization. The first vehicle will be produced in line with the opening of the plant. By the end of May, we aim to release the first vehicle – these will be Chevrolet passenger cars and Isuzu commercial vehicles," said Bahadyr Bahautdinov.

UzAuto Motors reached an agreement to establish a car manufacturing operation in Kyrgyzstan on January 27 during a business forum between the two nations. DT Technik will act as the corporate partner in this joint venture.

The plant's first year of operation is expected to yield 10,000 vehicles through large-unit assembly. Production is projected to escalate to 30,000 vehicles and transition to small-unit assembly with localization of certain components in the future.

Construction of the vehicle assembly and production plant located in the Chuy Region commenced in mid-May of the previous year. Kyrgyz Prime Minister Akylbek Japarov described the project as "strategically significant for both countries."

In late January, Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Economy and Commerce Daniyar Amangeldiev announced that the launch of the car plant would be postponed by six months due to adverse weather conditions, with the first products initially intended to be unveiled by the end of June.
