About 60 representatives of financial and tax departments from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Armenia, China, Tajikistan, Turkey and Japan take part in it.
The main purpose of the forum is to discuss the latest changes in tax policy and administration of Eurasian countries, exchange international experience and practice in resolving pressing issues in the field of taxes and finance, as well as bringing tax administration in the countries of the region into line with advanced international standards and achieving common agreements (consensus) on the development of cooperation between the participating countries.
The forum will include 8 thematic sessions dedicated to regional economic development and tax policy, direct and indirect taxation, digital tax administration, as well as the OECD two-part solution (GloBE Rules), actions to combat Base Erosion and Profit Shifting – BEPS.
The opening of the XVI Tax Forum “Silk Road” took place on February 28 in Tashkent at the Hyatt Regency hotel.
