The private airline Qanot Sharq is preparing to launch flights to the Czech Republic, the carrier’s website reports.
Flights on the route Tashkent - Prague - Tashkent will start on April 18 and will be operated every week on Thursdays. Flight schedule (local time for both airports):
- Departure from Tashkent - 10:30, arrival in Prague - 14:30;
- Departure from Prague - 16:00, arrival in Tashkent - 1:00.
The cost of a one-way ticket starts from 4,451,142 soums. Prices are valid at time of publication.
As Yaroslav Filip, director of aviation business at Prague Airport, noted, negotiations on organizing the flight lasted more than a year. In the first 12 months after the start of flights between Tashkent and Prague, at least 15 thousand people are expected to use the flight.
Qanot Sharq CEO Moses Pak named the Czech Republic as a priority destination for establishing air links with Europe. According to the top manager, the new flight can contribute to the development of tourism and cultural ties between the two countries.
For information, Qanot Sharq is a domestic air carrier with headquarters in Tashkent. The airline operates domestic and international flights, and its fleet consists of six Airbus aircraft types A320, A321neo and A330.
