President: It is necessary to provide the army with modern weapons and military equipment
On February 26, Shavkat Mirziyoyev was informed about the implementation of the tasks given at the extended meeting of the Security Council under the president, the press service of the head of state reported.

It is noted that the Minister of Defense gave a report on the implementation of the assigned tasks and the work being done to increase the combat readiness and capability of the troops, provide them with modern weapons and military equipment, improve the activities of the sergeants’ corps, and educate young people in the spirit of patriotism.
“In particular, in a short period of time, a number of works were carried out to improve the combat readiness of the troops and the training of military personnel, to strengthen the military discipline in the military units and units,” the report said.

The President paid attention to the tasks of digitizing the activities of the troops and gave instructions on the step-by-step introduction of modern automated systems of their management and the improvement of the communication system.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev also emphasized the need to improve the structure of the Armed Forces, provide the national army with modern weapons and military-technical equipment, and develop the defense industry complex.
The head of the state gave additional assignments on improving the industry and increasing the country’s defense capabilities.
