Chinese electronics manufacturers express intent to establish operations in Uzbekistan

Currently, representatives from the association's international relations department are in China, holding talks with representatives of several Chinese manufacturers.

During the negotiations with Lisa Chen, deputy director of the Suzhou Industrial Park Council for investment issues, the Uzbek side presented information about the association's activities, the current state of the country's electrical engineering industry, and the advantages and opportunities created by the state.

The parties also discussed a proposal to create a joint venture between the industrial park and the association for producing modern electronics in Uzbekistan.

Additionally, information was presented on the advantages of investing in the electronics sector, electronic components, and modern technologies in the republic.

During the visit, the history and activities of the Suzhou Industrial Park were carefully studied.

Meetings were also organized on the topic of cooperation with Andrey Znoska, sales manager of JinkoSolar in Central Asia, and Yiting Liu, representative of Hangzhou Xieneng Tech.

Founded in 1994, the Suzhou Industrial Park occupies an area of 278 square kilometers and is home to 2,489 Chinese manufacturers of high-tech products.

The Suzhou Industrial Park is a leader in producing new types of nanomaterials, biotechnologies, and high-tech medical equipment. In 2022, the park's GDP amounted to $48.4 billion.

From 2016 to 2022, the industrial park won China's national economic development zone competition seven times in a row.

The Association representatives' visit to China will continue, with further meetings on cooperation and investment attraction planned with many other companies and organizations.
