A meeting with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of China and Uzbekistan was held in the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change with the participation of Deputy Minister Jusipbek Kazbekov.
At the meeting, prospects for strengthening cooperation and strategic partnership in the field of ecology and environment protection between the two countries were discussed, as well as large-scale projects on construction of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly buildings and processing of household and solid waste.
It was also noted the importance of preventing air pollution, setting international environmental standards, widely introducing the digitization system, studying the experience of the PRC, and developing mechanisms in the field of environmental protection.
In addition, attention was also paid to the study of Chinese experience in beautification of desert areas, establishment of plantation farms, installation of innovative technologies in the urban system, and wastewater treatment.
During the meeting, information was given about the government's work on the development of various sectors and industries, including the measures being taken to protect the environment.
The parties discussed the prospects of development of the national taxonomy of "green" projects, establishment of the Green Fund, as well as other activities aimed at the further development of ecologically clean economic growth.
Following the meeting, it was agreed to organize additional negotiations on the above issues.
