Volume of housing construction in Uzbekistan increased by 1.5 times over a year
In 2023, the volume of housing construction in Uzbekistan increased by 1.5 times. Construction work has been organized in 90,000 houses.

The newly introduced “Initiative budget” system has stimulated further expansion of the scope of creative work in the regions. 5.5 trillion soums received through this system were used for construction and improvement of 4,701 objects in mahallas.
In January-November 2023, construction works worth 132.4 trillion soums were completed in Uzbekistan.
According to the statistics agency, June is the leader in the volume of construction works completed in Uzbekistan during the month – 16 trillion soums.
It was followed by the months of March and September, when the volume of construction works was equal to 14.6 trillion soums and 14.5 trillion soums, respectively.
