52-year-old Bakhtiyor Zafarovich Kudratullaev, known by the nicknames “Bakhti Tashkentsky” and “Bakhti Yangiabadsky”, was arrested by law enforcement officers in Tashkent, the press service of the capital’s DIA reported.
He is accused of committing crimes envisaged in Article 165-3 (extortion in large amounts), Article 276-2 (Illegal preparation, possession, storage and other actions without the purpose of transferring narcotic drugs, their analogues or psychotropic substances) of the Criminal Code.
In addition, 43-year-old Dilshod Tulkinovich Sharipov and 51-year-old Anvar Boborajabovich Mirzokhanov, who are suspected of Article 165-3 of the Criminal Code (extortion in large amounts), were also arrested.
These persons engaged in illegal acquisition of funds through threats and use of force.
As part of the criminal case, suspects Bakhtiyor Kudratullaev, Anvar Mirzokhanov and Dilshod Sharipov were detained in procedural order. The investigation is ongoing.

The identity of the petitioner is guaranteed to be kept confidential,” the DIA said in a statement.
