Road accident in Fergana claims lives of 2 women, injures 4 passengers
On the morning of November 21, in the Uchkuprik district, Isuzi collided with Damas, which stopped at a traffic light. As a result, passengers: 2 women died on the spot, 2 more minor girls, 1 woman and the driver, a total of 4 people were hospitalized with injuries.

On November 21, at 08:20, in the Mehnatabad mahalla area, Uchkuprik district, a 23-year-old driver of Isuzi, Sh.E., did not keep the appropriate distance and collided with Damas, which was stopping at a red traffic light, the Fergana regional DIA reported.
As a result of the traffic accident, the female passengers M.D. (born in 1987) and G.K. (born in 1988) of the Damas car received fatal injuries and died on the spot.
Also, as a result of the incident, 2 minor girls, 1 woman and the driver, a total of 4 people were injured and hospitalized.
On this fact, a criminal case was opened against Sh.E. under the Article 266, part 3, paragraph “a” of the Criminal Code; a precautionary measure in the form of “imprisonment” was applied against him.
Social networks are circulating reports that the death toll is higher and children have also died. The spokesperson of the Fergana regional DIA denied the rumors that the children died in the accident.
