Uzbekistan imported $130 million worth of mobile phones over seven months
In January-July 2023, Uzbekistan imported about 1.9 million units of mobile phones worth $130 million from abroad.
According to the Statistics Agency, the import of mobile phones increased by 365,880 units compared to the same period last year.
Over the past seven months, Uzbekistan imported mobile phones mainly from the following countries:
- China - 1.7 million units
- Vietnam - 189.2 thousand units
- India - 14.3 thousand units
- Kazakhstan - 2.4 thousand units
- UAE - 1.9 thousand units
