Presidential Administration undergoing reforms
Several positions, including the head of the Presidential Administration, have been terminated.

According to the presidential press service, a number of changes were made to the structure of the administration.
Sardor Umrzakov, who headed the PA, has now become an adviser to the president on special assignments.
Sunnatulla Bekenov is no longer an assistant to the head of the Presidential Administration. Also, Furqat Rahimov has been released from the post of head of the Department for Preparation of Analytical Materials and Coordination of Administrative Units of the PA Executive Office.
In addition, the following positions in the Presidential Administration system have been terminated:
Regional assistants of the PA head;
Secretariats of regional assistants of the PA head;
Department for coordination of activities of regional assistants of the PA head.
