Uzbekistan’s EV imports up
Uzbekistan is importing electric vehicles mainly from China.

In January-June 2023, Uzbekistan imported 5,403 electric cars worth $167 million from 10 foreign countries, the Statistics Agency said.
According to the agency, the import of electric cars increased by 4,289 or almost 5 times compared to the corresponding period of 2022.
Over the past six months, Uzbekistan imported EVs mainly from the following countries:
- China - 4,956
- Hong Kong - 348
- Germany - 57
- UAE – 16
- South Korea - 12
- USA - 7
