State ready to fund education of 500 youth at prestigious foreign universities every year
Uzbekistan will establish cooperation with top higher education institutions of the world in introducing joint study programs in the country.

At least 50 joint study programs and a double degree system will be introduced in the republic, said Shavkat Mirziyoyev on May 30.
In addition, 500 talented young people will be sent to the most prestigious foreign universities to study at the expense of the state in biotechnology, artificial intelligence and other high-tech areas. According to Shavkat Mirziyoyev, $200 million will be allocated for this purpose.
Over the next seven years, $1 billion will be allotted for the development of science and innovation.
