The French company “Montagne et Neige Développement” (MND) was declared the winner in the tender announced by the SUE “Construction and operation of Beldersoy – Chimyon – Nanay” international seasonal resort within the framework of the project “Construction of Chimyon tourist zone”.

In this regard, within the 9th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Uzbekistan and France, a contract was signed between the French company “Montagne et Neige Développement” and
the project office for the construction and operation of the international all-season resort “Beldersoy – Chimyon – Nanay”. 

Within the framework of this project, a 10-person gondola-type intermediate ropeway (maximum capacity – 2,000 people/hour) and a pendulum-type main ropeway for 80 people (maximum capacity – 800 persons/hour) will be built.

The resort will become the highest point in the Central Asian countries with such facilities. It also hosts more than 20 types of winter and summer attractions, such as XXL Zip line, Alpine coaster, Adventure tower, Tubing, Via ferrata. 11 ski resorts of different levels with a total length of more than 20 km, hotel complexes for 6,000 tourists and cottages will be built.

As a result, an international all-season resort serving 3.1 million people a year will be established and 451 new jobs will be created.
