During the dialogue, the issues of increasing the volume of trade between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia and organizing a business mission of business representatives of this country to Uzbekistan were discussed.
Mansour Al-Ajmi said that the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry is ready to mobilize all efforts to further improve the relations between the two countries. The representative of Saudi Arabia said that the Chamber will help to increase the volume of mutual trade by organizing visits to foreign countries by bringing together businessmen from all directions.
The official representative of Uzbekistan, Ulugbek Maksudov, proposed to organize a business mission to Uzbekistan for a delegation of representatives of the business circles of this country in order to increase the volume of mutual trade and to attract Saudi Arabian investments to projects in Uzbekistan.
The representative of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced that he fully supports this initiative and a delegation of 100 businessmen, representatives of the investment and trade ministries and financial funds on important areas will visit Uzbekistan this year.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further intensify cooperation in priority areas such as agriculture, tourism, textiles, mining, healthcare, animal husbandry, horticulture and trade.
