From May 1, the cost of AI-92 gasoline at filling stations owned by Uzbekneftegaz JSC will not increase, the Ministry of Energy reported.
“Responsible employees of UNG Petro LLC hastily published the news on the social network, without the consent of the management, appropriate measures will be taken against them,” the official statement says.
The ministry added that in May, the current price for gasoline of this brand is even expected to decrease (7.5 thousand soums).
On April 30, information was circulated on social networks that discounts on AI-92 gasoline, announced by the UNG Petro filling station network on the eve of the Navruz holiday, will be canceled from May 1. The reason for this was a message published on the UNG Petro telegram channel. This post was removed shortly after.
For information, a liter of AI-92 gasoline was sold at a price of 7,500 soums due to a discount announced by the UNG Petro gas station network on the eve of the Navruz holiday.
