On April 21, a video showing a quarrel between a group of girls studying at school No. 331 in the capital’s Yangihayat district was circulated on social networks. Reportedly, schoolgirl S.Kh. (born in 2009) was beaten by Kh.S. (born in 2006) and D.U. (born in 2007) in an unfinished building. As a result, she suffered minor injuries.
According to the Tashkent city preschool and school education general directorate, the incident happened on April 12 after classes, and the schoolgirls themselves filmed it and disseminated it on social networks.
“The school administration became familiar with the case on the evening of April 12. The next day, the parents of the participants in the quarrel were called and explanatory work was carried out with them. Regarding the incident, the school administration appealed to the Yangihayat district DIA. At the moment, pre-investigation checks are being continued,” the official statement reads.
The capital’s DIA writes that the quarrel occurred on April 13. In connection with the above case, a criminal case was initiated under Article 277 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code.
